Please. How could they possibly be dead? For the entire first season, we discover that the group Es Set was behind a good majority of the weird shit that our pretty Weiß boys had to deal with. Es Set is some sort of international cult led by two old geezers and one old hag, and they plan on destroying the old world in order to bring about a new one. (Kind of smells like Bastard!!) Es Set needs to resurrect a leader to take them into the new world, and they try to use Aya-chan for that purpose. The pretty Schwartz boys, who at first appear to be merely body guards for the Takatoris, turn out to be working for Es Set instead. The Schwartz boys each have a talent that is unusual: Crawford can predict the immediate future, which makes him a formidable adversary. Schuldig can read people's minds and, as we find out later can actually control people's minds. *pleasant shudder* Farfarello has a delightfully high pain tolerance, and precious little Nagi has extremely powerful telekinetic energies. For as powerful as the old Es Set people were supposed to be, we discover that the Schwartz boys are much more powerful. And for as powerful as the Schwartz boys are, and for as much as they have survived in the first series, it is inconceivable to me how they could die in the last episode. If the pretty Weiß boys didn't die, how could the pretty Schwartz boys possibly die? The Weiß Boys had no special powers to save them, and yet they survived the same situation with all bodily parts intact. In the OAV teaser, we see that Crawford and Schuldig are still alive... and looking more delicious than ever! Just because we didn't see Nagi or Farfarello doesn't mean they aren't around somewhere, waiting to pop up in season two. I can't stand the anticipation!! Roar!!
