Season Two: Glowin!

I eagerly anticipate season two of Weiß Kreuz, which I basically know absolutely nothing about. After I heard the rumor I went scouring the net for information, but since I can't read Japanese I am sorta screwed for luck here. All I know is that it's to be called "Glühen" like the J-pop tour, which is a German word meaning "glow." *shudders*
At the end of the OAVs we're teased by the appearance of Schuldig and Brad Crawford, who meet on the road and hint that they're not quite finished with our pretty Weiß boys. It was a definite set-up for a season two, but rumor is, it'd be the completion of the anime. *weeps*
Completing the anime, though, doesn't mean they can't make OAVs to their heart's delight... >:)

I'm bitter, because when I found pictures from season two, there weren't any Schwartz pictures. There were some very nice pictures of the Weiß boys, though!
Ken-kun's as normal as ever!
I'm happy to report that Ken still, in season 2, looks like a boy. *celebrates*
Yum, Yohji-kun!
Yohji, like Ken, remains virtually the same. Why mess with perfection, right? >:) That picture of him winking, though... I dunno, getting dirty thoughts. And the happy picture looks a little too happy if you ask me.
Sweet little Omi-kun!
Woo, one of my favorite discoveries!! Omi's known for looking young, wide-eyed and innocent, even though he killed nearly his whole family (harsh!) but in this character sheet from Season 2, we see Omi with "mean eyes!"
Roar, it's Aya-kun!!
This character sheet of Aya is my favorite discovery. It took me a while before I even realized what was different about this character sheet. It was what clued me into the fact that these pictures were actually from rumored season 2! Aya.... has.... a ponytail.

Ok, I reeeeeeeeally like Aya with a ponytail. It's different, it's got that effeminate-male quality I so enjoy, and it's not as scary as Aya's look as Ran in Crashers Knight and Ran... *shudders*

New Info! 02.04.02 Weiß Kreuz Glühen (season two) is to be aired on Japanese television in March of 2002. Apparently the animation job has been handed over to a whole new set of people.... which will be interesting, and fun. From the character sheets above we can tell that the style is very very nice, and maybe, when under new supervision, the animation will be a bit more consistent. Now I have to wonder, how long will it be before I can get my hands on the fansubs...?
